  1. With an electric mixer, cream together sugar ane butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Blend thoroughly. Slowly add flour (batter will be thick). Continue beating for 2-3 minutes (the longer you beat, the higher the cake) Bake @ 350 for 60 minutes. Let cool 10-15 minutes and put on a plate.
Recipe Notes

NOTE:
This cake is also good as an Ice Cream Cake. Slice cake into 3 or 4 layers. Put different favors of ice cream between layers. Put cake in freezer until ready to serve. Let thaw 5-10 minutes before serving.
